The following information is for your general knowledge and reference.  Please let me know if you have any questions. 

 

CLASSES ARE ON A 34 WEEK BASIS

LESSON PRICES this year per month are:

1st class   $30.00

2nd class  $26.00

3rd class   $20.00

4th class   $20.00

(one hour Company Ballet class is $28.00)
 

ALL LESSONS ARE TO BE PAID THE FIRST WEEK OF EVERY MONTH.

A late fee of $15.00 per month will be added to your over due bill, so please see the front desk if there is a problem.  There is a $25.00 charge for any returned checks.  Checks are not redeposited.  We now accept debit and credit cards. 

 

ALL BILLS MUST BE UP TO DATE AT ROOTS GYMNASTICS AND ALL-STARS or you will not be able to return to either facility until your bills are up to date. 

 

COSTUME DEPOSIT

$30.00 per costume for non-Company dancers

$40.00 per costume for Company dancers

These deposits are due on October 1, 2008

 

DROPPING A CLASS

If you decide to drop a class, you must do so by November 1st, otherwise you are responsible for all costume deposits. 

 

THERE ARE NO CLASSES WHEN:

Westfield Schools are closed for vacation

The class falls on a holiday

Westfield Schools are closed for snow days

I have factored in 2 allowable days for snow days.  If more than 2 classes are cancelled due to snow days, classes will be made up.  You will be notified in advance for make-up days.  *** Please call our answering machine or check the website (AllStarsDanceCenter.com) for any cancellation information. 

 

**THERE ARE CLASSES ON:

1/2 days, such as Parent-Teacher conferences or In-Service days for Westfield Schools.

 

I HAVE AN OPEN DOOR POLICY

 Please feel free to approach me if I am not busy with a class.

 If I am busy, please leave me a note and I will be in touch with you as soon as possible.  It is much easier to deal with a problem immediately and directly than to have anyone spend time worrying about it.  I want you and your child to enjoy your experience with our dance center.                      Kim

 

 

 RULES
We have a few simple rules to follow so PLEASE go over them with your children
These rules are in place to ensure the safety and well-being of all the danceres,assistants, and teachers.

 

1.  NO GUM CHEWING IN CLASS.

 

2.  PROPER DANCE ATTIRE WHILE IN CLASS:

No jeans are allowed ever.  If you wear dance pants, they must come to the top of your dance shoes or feet.  This is so that I can see that you have proper body positioning and so you can move freely and easily without getting hurt. 

 

3.  HAIR MUST BE UP OUT OF YOUR FACE:

It is very difficult to dance with hair in your face.  Please have your dancer's hair pulled back in a ponytail, braid, or bun.

 

4.  BE ON TIME:

We start class with warm-ups, and it is very important to warm up our bodies before dancing.

 

5.  PLEASE DON'T MISS CLASS:

 If you are going to miss a class, please call the center and let us know.

 

6.  PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE

Practicing at home will ensure you great success.

 

NOTE TO PARENTS:    
This is a dance center not a day-care.  Plese don't drop off your dancer(s) more than ten minutes before their class starts.  Please come in to pick up your dancer(s) because we don't like our dancers to be hanging around outside.

 

***Also parents who bring in siblings, please watch them and pick up after them.  They are NOT to be left alone or left in the studio unattended.
